Robert S. Duquette, Broker/Owner, NMLS# 12710

Company President - Bob has 35+ years of mortgage lending experience.  He founded Adirondack Funding Services in July 1991.  Bob has built a strong foundation for success based on trust and personal values. Treating clients like family is a powerful approach, especially in an industry like mortgage lending where trust is so important. He graduated from the State University of New York at Canton in 1973 with a Degree in Business Administration.  While at SUNY Canton, Bob served as a Senator in the Student College Association and President of Alpha Theta Gamma Fraternity.  Bob is a certified education instructor for New York State mortgage loan originator licensing requirements.    

In September 2009, Bob was installed as State President of the New York Association of Mortgage Brokers (NYAMB).   NYAMB is a non-Profit professional trade organization representing registered mortgage brokers and licensed mortgage loan originators across New York State.   Bob served on the Executive, Membership, Convention and Events, and Government Affairs Committees.   On April 5, 2016, he was awarded NYAMB's top honor as a recipient of the "Lifetime Achievement Award" in recognition of his long and distinguished service to NYAMB and the mortgage industry throughout New York State and Nationally.

Mr. Duquette has served his community in many volunteer capacities over the years, including the Plattsburgh-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Chairman and Member on the Town of Peru Youth Commission, Chairman of the Clinton County Youth Bureau Advisory Board, and member on the Town of Peru Planning Board.   He has a long history of volunteering as a youth baseball coach and ice hockey coach and served as President of Plattsburgh Youth Hockey, the Peru Varsity Ice Hockey Booster Club and the Adirondack All-Star Baseball Tournament Program, which he founded in 1995.  Bob lives in Peru with his wife Cindy and they enjoy spending time with their four children and nine grandchildren.

Michelle L. Miller, Senior Loan Originator, NMLS # 12717

Michelle began her career as a mortgage professional with Adirondack Funding Services in 1999, as a Loan Processor and Closing Coordinator. In 2016, Michelle was promoted, and became a fully licensed Mortgage Loan Originator in the State of New York. Throughout her more than 20 years with Adirondack Funding Services, she has gained a vast knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines, and procedures. Matt is a dedicated Senior Loan Originator, serving clients in both New York and Florida since 2023. With a focus on providing personalized mortgage solutions, Matt has quickly earned a reputation for his professionalism, expertise, and commitment to helping clients secure their financial future. As a licensed loan originator in two states, he has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the mortgage industry, always striving to deliver the best possible outcomes for those he works with.

Before transitioning into the mortgage industry, Matt spent eight years as a Retail Manager, where he honed his skills in customer service, team leadership, and problem-solving. His background in retail management laid a solid foundation for his current role, where he continues to prioritize building strong relationships and offering exceptional service to each client.

In addition to his professional career, Matt is deeply committed to giving back to his community. For the past five years, he has volunteered as a coach for youth soccer, hockey, and baseball teams. His hands-on involvement with local youth sports has not only allowed him to inspire young athletes but also to instill important values such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

Laurie Suddard, Senior Processor 

Laurie Suddard is Adirondack Funding Services Senior Mortgage Processor. She has over 30 years of experience processing mortgage loan applications. Her extensive background in Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-Conforming loan products and lending guidelines as well as experience with the legal, regulatory, and technological requirements makes Laurie an extremely knowledgeable Loan Processer.

She prides herself in working closely with clients to close their loan as quickly and efficiently as possible. Laurie enjoys helping her customers achieve their goal of Home Ownership. Laurie’s Education is in Banking and Finance. She graduated from Adirondack Community College in Glens Falls, NY with an American Institute of Banking Degree and she is also a Certified Tax Consultant. Laurie lives in Plattsburgh, NY and enjoys spending time with her 3 grown children and five grandchildren.

Cindy Duquette, Executive Vice President and Director of Office Operations

Cindy’s main responsibility is the overall management of daily office activities including office administration, loan processing, pre-underwriting and loan closings on all client transactions at Adirondack Funding Services.  Cindy has been a key management professional at Adirondack Funding since July 1991.

Cindy has been in the banking and mortgage industry for over 30 years and during that time has been involved in all aspects of the mortgage financing industry.  She has an extensive knowledge and wealth of experience in the entire process of mortgage lending operations.  Cindy knows how to get things done quickly and efficiently.  Her greatest strength is how well she works with clients and understands their needs.

Cindy and Bob were married in 1977 and have resided in Peru, New York since 1985. They enjoy spending time with their four children and nine grandchildren.
